Scheduling for the new school year has begun!
Course selection is an important process that provides students an opportunity to select classes that are aligned to their post secondary plans. In addition, students are encouraged to explore a variety of options that are outlined in the program of studies. It is also crucial to every student’s success to have consistent input from their teachers, guidance counselors and parents. All parties should help students plan an appropriate sequence of courses, mindful of any prerequisites to individual courses. In addition, they should note that courses are arranged according to four strands: Advanced Placement (AP), Honors (H), College Prep Standard (CP-ST) and College Prep Essential (CP-ES). Moreover, Woonsocket High School will make every attempt to satisfy each student’s course requests; however, some classes may have to be cancelled due to lack of enrollment.
Please see the Program of Studies for information regarding course offerings. You can access the Program of Studies from this link: http://whs.woonsocketschools.com/program_of_studies

Fall and Spring ACN Courses
RIDE is excited to announce that the Fall and Spring 2021 registration window is now open.
The ACN is designed to help Rhode Island schools create opportunities for public school students to identify, pursue and realize their post-high school path. Enriching experiences with advanced coursework help students get a head start on post-secondary success, master the skills required of a lifelong learner, and be prepared for jobs in sectors critical to Rhode Island’s future prosperity.
Please note the following.
Registration remains first come first serve and we are anticipating a great amount of demand as students share their experiences with their peers.
